YMCA Sierra Leone, in collaboration with Kompin Artists, proudly hosted a powerful art exhibition titled "Empowerment."

We were deeply honored to welcome the Mayor of Freetown, Her Worship Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, as our distinguished guest, alongside the German Ambassador to Sierra Leone, YMCA Board Chair, dedicated staff, and other valued partners.

In his opening remarks, our National General Secretary expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and emphasized that this is just one of many exciting events to come. A special thank you to our Board and incredible staff, especially Christian kutzner for a wonderful initiative whose hard work made this event a true success!

As a meaningful gesture, part of the proceeds from the sale of the artworks will go to support YMCA Sierra Leone. We’re also thrilled to announce that the next exhibition will be held in partnership with the Freetown City Council (FCC).
