OUR TOURIST OF THE MONTH
02/12/2025YMCA Extends Love to Milton Margai School for the Blind
Abstract
The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to service and inclusion through a humanitarian visit to the Milton Margai School for the Blind.
During the visit, YMCA donated essential food and relief items including bags of rice, onions, tomatoes, drinking water, toiletries, and other vital supplies to support visually impaired students and improve their daily welfare.
Receiving the donation, Principal Mr. Sallieu Turay expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that 93 blind students are currently enrolled across schools in Sierra Leone a reminder of the continued need for support and inclusive opportunities.
The National General Secretary of the Young Men’s Christian Association was present to officially hand over the items, reaffirming YMCA’s leadership commitment to humanitarian service and social inclusion.
The moment was deeply touching as students offered prayers and appreciation, thanking YMCA for standing with them in love, solidarity, and hope.
At YMCA, we believe no one should be left behind especially children living with disabilities.
